Steps to Create your Business Identity

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Whether you are a small business or one of those big names in the industry, branding has and always will be an important element for any business. Branding is important since it is one of the best ways to characterize your company or business since it defines you, the whole team that comprises this, as well as your external audiences. Branding can also be defined as a business’ identity since it embodies the core of what exactly the business is, its values, and what it can offer to the people, not just what it appears to be and sounds like.

When customers have a connection because they share similar beliefs and values of a brand, it will lead to increased sales and better brand distinction. Furthermore, branding can also bring about loyalty, plus it can also protect your products’ prices especially when other similar companies make use of various promos and discounts just to drive more sales.

With that, here are a couple of important tips on how to successfully and effectively create your business identity:

Characterize Your Brand

When you define or characterize your brand, it is more than just choosing a company name, coming up with a catchy tagline, or designing a company logo; you will have to determine first what products or services the business offers. Also, you will have to pinpoint its position in the market or niche that it occupies before researching on what the concerns, needs, and interests of your customers are. Always remember that to build your business identity, your brand’s character should aim to promote your business and services. Doing this effectively will not only build your company’s identity but it will also connect with customers, prospects, and will also differentiate the company from competition.

Come up with a Great Slogan or Tagline

By this time, you should have already finished choosing a company name since you will need to start focusing on ways to tell everyone what your brand is all about. You will need to come up with a great slogan or tagline to do this; however, if you are on a budget and have difficulties coming up with a great slogan, Squadhelp is a place to visit. Other than hosting your own logo design contests, you can also start your own tagline contesthere to receive tons of smart ideas from creatives all over the world.

Avoid Copying the Look of Big Brands / Chains

It can be a little tempting to mimic some of the looks of big brands or chains; however, it is best to come up with your own distinct and unique identity instead. Nowadays, there is a trend for consumers who tend to go for more independent establishments and because of that, a lot of chains are attempting to copy this independent feel or ambiance to, of course, pique the interest and capture this specific market.

However, genuine independent establishments can easily attract and influence individuals who are in search for original, unique, and authentic products or services. So if your business and services have its own unique flair, then make use of these to exude a one-of-a-kind look and identity.

Provide the Benefits and Key Qualities of your Business

Generally, there are other companies and businesses that have higher budgets as well as more resources to function adequately in the industry yet remember that your services, products, as well as the benefits your business offers is solely yours. You will have to thoroughly determine what your company has to offer which is unique to your competitors and other similar businesses; this could be unparalleled customer service or a highly notable process of supporting productivity. Given that you already know who your target audience is, give them all the reasons to choose your company over your competitors. Do this by focusing on the company’s qualities and benefits to make your company stand out.

The structure and or the skeleton of a blog: 4 P’s of blogging

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Write that blog using only four P’s

One of the key lessons we have learned so far about blogging is that it is useful to consider the structure of your blog. This may have far-reaching implications for how your blog works, the user experience and ultimately the conversion of a blog.

We go back to high school, at least mine Blog High School: How many items can you even name the four Ps of the marketing mix? Yeah sounds great but read further.

Yeah Yeah, Product … Now Place … .Promotion Ahummm oh yeah, and much more Value.

Good weather here to pick up the textbook marketing terms. Okay, what I’m concerned, you can now forget them again.

Blogging is in fact a slightly different animal. When it comes to blogging, we still have to do with marketing and ultimately about products. What I like to show you is how you can use an alternative 4 P’s model to create a good structure for a blog or a website where a blog is integrated in a good way.

I named this model “The 4 P`s of blogging.”

And it looks something like here below:

The 1st  P stands for Pages
The 2nd  P stands for Posts
The 3rd  P is for Products
And the 4th  P stands for Placement

O Yes you can follow me better now where I am going………..

PAGES
Pages can be viewed as static content. Pages are very suitable to describe who you are, what you do or your company, and so on. When setting up your blog you would be well advised to work out the basis of your concept pages. The visitor should be able to form a clear picture of the purpose of your blog or website by which what is described on the pages state.

POSTS
Posts were originally intended for publishing dynamic content through a blog. The main difference between a page and a post is that there is often the possibility exists to posts for visitors to respond via comments. Additionally [lend] posts themselves are more often to be distributed through various channels, because they are often unique and newsworthy content.

However, the dividing line between the posts and pages is fading. Nowadays it is also perfectly possible to build a website or blog based only on pages or posts. Nevertheless, it is good to know the differences in any case.

PRODUCTS
If you’re aiming to make money with your blog, you want to take into account the structure of your blog with products. Now it may be that you have a separate template (made) for products, but it is certainly possible to display products on pages or posts.
The point is that what kind of products should be clear to yourself you like to monetize. You want your whole blog also arranging the provision that the maximum number of content (both pages and posts) send the visitor towards these products.

PLACEMENT
Placing pages, posts, products and navigation items to support the goal of your blog. If you are going to provide targeted information for specific target groups, you want to place these items in a way that a visitor can find easily what they are looking for. Take this into consideration when you also arrange categories and subcategories.

Putting it together

The elements of a blog must appear in such a clear way so the visitor can find the information quickly.
Therefore, start preferably having a structure as simple as possible. Keep It Simple, stupid (KISS). You only have five seconds to get the attention of a visitor and ensure that visitors continue navigating your blog.

Button up all various elements together. Pages, posts, lists of concepts and products form a unified whole between navigates the visitor. And therefore always keep in mind what the main purpose is of your blog because you can handle this in the navigation paths that the visitor is going through.

With the 4 P’s of blogging I have given you four free tools to structure all your future blogs.

Where Ohh Where Do I Find My Blogging Inspiration?

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Inspiration is actually not that hard to find. Starting with contrast, searching. I personally believe that inspiration can be found anywhere. And for everyone. The problem is, you need a certain state of perception. Because the phenomenon in itself, is not so crazy complicated: inspiration is in my opinion an interaction between external stimuli and what the brains do. And by definition, you can say that inspiration comes from the outside. How annoying too … it comes and it goes. Waiting for inspiration is therefore totally meaningless. And it’s amazing how many people do so sitting in that game. They wait and say: ‘I really need more inspiration! “The harsh reality, inspiration does not just happen to you. It calls for action to move to do. And yes, you probably know yourself.

So I leave you hereby give 5+5 tips that will hopefully help you to begin to look with inspiration:

  1. Choose to rest

Plays calm in our busy lives a very important role. Also, when it comes to inspiration. Looking even conscious for 15 minutes one day and pick up the hammock. Or even take a weekend getaway.

  2. Go out

Nature is of course full of external stimuli. Take that walk or step into the boat. And consciously listen to your surroundings. If necessary, just close your eyes.

  3. Locate water

an environment with water stands for inspiration. Hence many ideas arise in the shower or bath. Or, yes, on the toilet. Ha-ha try it out.

  4. Know yourself

an important question is: why someone or something inspires you? The answer to that question brings more focus in your quest.

  5. Surround yourself with type A

Type A people that give you energy. Type B people costs you energy.

So if you are looking for inspiration, consciously choose for some extra time with Type A.

  1. Change of Scenery

Change your environment as much as possible. Sitting in the same everyday will not give you any new stimuli/booster.

  2. Read

not all readers become inspiring leaders, but inspirational leaders certainly are all readers. There are lots of nice books. So dive once in a good book and boom you will find some more blog ideas.

  3. Create

Choose a topic, set your timer and try to create something for 15 minutes. Do not stop and do whatever comes to mind. Write, paint or talk. Nonstop. Looks crazy but finally yeah…it comes good.

  4. Listen to others

Meet new people and try to listen. And listen to understand, not to respond. It will certainly inspire and perhaps even enriching.

  5. Quote

to finish and to inspire understand this quote: “To be inspired is great, to inspire is incredible.”

My Dear visitors I hope that you are now double inspired and motivated to move further in our blogging world. If you have more sweet ideas, just share them in the comments.

Flashing Ideas For A Dynamic Article Marketing Strategy [DAMS]

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Could article marketing be an ideal method of marketing your business? Do you even know what it takes to produce the quality articles that make action happen? Well, there are various considerations that are important to the process, and knowing what they are is going to help you to put a great method into action work for you. Pay attention to these tips first to see just what you should be thinking about.

Blogging is one of the best ways to draw business to your website. There is no cost to blogging on most websites, and it can be used to get feedback from your visitors. Blogs are fairly easy to set up and it can get more people to pay attention to your business and website.

Keep your articles simple. If you bury the useful information under a bunch of junk or technical jargon readers are going to move on to someone else. Worse, if you get a reputation for this you won’t attract readers and people will avoid anything with your name on it in favor of others.

Research the subject you wish to write about before you get started. The more informed you are upfront, the better your article will sound. You will be able to show your knowledge, and writing your articles will be an easy effort. Readers prefer content that is intelligent and very clear to read.

Tell a personal story. Readers love learning more about the writer of an article, so if you can slip a personal story with relevancy into your article, do it! It makes your readers feel as if you are more trustworthy, since you are open to sharing your own stories with them.

Try to highlight a problem and offer a solution in each article you write. If you describe in detail a problem that readers are having then offer them solution, you could dramatically increase the number of leads an article generates. A useful article will also lead to more of your visitors linking to the article.

Try to include real-life examples in your article. The reader will be able to identify with your blog post, making them more interested in the subject that you are writing about. It is also important to use descriptive language so that the reader can visualize the situation that you are discussing.

If you find that your articles are a very good quality, you should consider creating an e-book and giving them away to your readers. You can do a giveaway, which will get more traffic. Who doesn’t like to win something? While they are trying to win the e-book, they will see what else you have to offer, and it could lead to a sale.

Good article marketing demands that the work you produce be interesting, unique and highly valuable to the readers. Readers will find little appeal in articles that seem to be retreads of old information, and many will steer clear of obscure pieces.

If you plan on writing marketing articles, you should create an author biography for yourself. This composition should give a brief glimpse of personal information about yourself. Make sure you include all information that describes your expertise. Having expertise in the field which you are writing about gives the marketing article more credibility. To be successful at article marketing you have to make writing a priority. One technique that works well is to set aside a block of time daily just for writing. To be effective you must close your door, turn off your cellphone, and avoid interruptions for the duration of your writing time. Your productivity will skyrocket if you fully commit in this way.

A great tip when promoting your online articles is to always cross-link your articles; however, you should always make sure you include a link back to your blog. This is done in case you are limited to a particular number of links. Bringing potential new readers to your site is the most important thing.

If it takes you a long time to write an article, consider paying someone to write it for you. Although article marketing is very effective and can lead to a lots of sales and orders, your time is valuable and if it is taking you hours and hours to write articles, you may find yourself working for less than minimum wage.

A great article marketing tip is to make sure you’re creating a headline that’s worth reading. A lot of people get carried away with including keywords in their headline. This can make the headline sound stale and uninteresting. Always make sure you have a headline people want to read.

A great article marketing tip is to not forget to promote your articles. If you’re not promoting your articles, no one will ever get the chance to read them. A great way to promote your articles is by linking them in a twitter update. You can also do this on other social networking sites.

A fantastic article marketing tip is to branch out and get your own web site. With your very own web site you’ll be able to post your own articles at any length you want. You can even include advertisements from affiliates because you’ll have total control of your site.

Promote your own articles. There is no need to wait for people to come to you when you can go to them. Feel free to post links to your articles on social-media websites. Social-media users are notorious for sharing, and just might share your article with their friends and followers.

If you are using an article marketing technique and are rejected – learn from it! Article submission services have the right to decline your submissions for a number of reasons. While rejection is certainly not pleasant, it can be used as a learning experience. Consider any rejection as an opportunity to improve your skills. When you take this approach, rejection will quickly become a thing of the past.

If you use these article marketing tips for your business’s marketing through the internet, you will find that article marketing truly does have a great promotional power and can really give your business the visibility you have been looking for. There is a great deal to gain from marketing online, especially if you have the knowledge to create the best strategies for marketing through articles online.

Try Internal Linking to Boost Blog Traffic

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

By simply linking from one blog post to others in your blog you can massively increase your blog site traffic. An assignment that tasks just a few seconds can produce excellent results. What do you need to know?

As a blog owner, one of your concerns will be about increasing readership of your blog. You want new readers coming over to your website and you want them reading more pages than they currently are. One on of the easiest ways of doing this is by steering them around your website as they read posts and to do this you can employ internal links.

These are exactly what they are called – links to pages on your website (hence internal) as opposed to links on other websites, which would be ‘external’. What are the purposes for these links?

1 – Steer readers around your blog

As you are writing a new post think about previous posts and if any of them are relevant to what you are writing. You may be writing a post that mentions a subject in overview, which you have already blogged about in detail. As this is a more detailed view of what you are writing about it makes sense that it could also be of interest to readers, so link to the post.

Once your blog post is live there’s also no harm in reviewing old posts and linking into the new post. This doesn’t have the same benefits as links from the latest post, but it dos help to keep the blog looking up to date and fresh.

2 – Search Engine Optimisation

When you publish a new post it (normally!) goes to the home page of your blog and sits there for a few days. Most blogging tools will also ‘ping’ the major search engines so that they know there is a new post to visit.

This means that recent posts are highly visible to the search engines, but the old ones get a bit ‘forgotten’. By linking from your newest work to older pieces, you are pointing the search engines straight into the archives. This helps to ‘distribute’ link favour of your website.

Occasional, and I do more occasional and not frequent, usage of keywords and keyword phrases in these links might also help very slightly in your SEO processes.

3 – Revenge to content theft

This might seem a strange ‘benefit’ but it is a trick that I have successfully exploited in the past when my blog content was routinely being stolen. The technique that these people use is to download your blog content via your RSS feed and publish it to their own blogs. Recently with Google updates punishing duplicate content this is not such a massive problem, but if it happens then this technique can make sure that you do see some benefits!

If you are adding internal links to your posts then if someone copies your content to their site then these become external links from their site to yours. You might get some SEO advantage (unlikely as Google is punishing such sites), whilst any readers the stealing site does get will at least see links into your site. However, with all of you posts pointing back to you own website, it’s a huge hint to Google as to the fact that it was your site that was the original source of the content!

How to employ this linking?

There are various plugins that you can use to list related posts, but I prefer the simple approach of manually adding links within the post to other posts. This way, the links are right where the reader is reading and ready for them to click on. Don’t try to be clever in terms of search engine optimization. You don’t need to pack every one of these links with keywords. Go the other way and just make them natural and fit into the context of the page. If “click here for more information” fits best then use that. All that matters is that readers, and search engines, can start to follow the spiders web of links you are leaving and quickly find your important posts.

Why Quality, not ‘Quantity’ is Most Important in Lead Generation

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

It can be very seductive to look at the number of leads you have compiled and be satisfied, however, those figures can be deceiving and may ultimately do nothing for your bottom line.

“More leads” does not mean “better,” sales are the only objective. You can generate a million leads, but if none of them convert then you just wasted resources.

All Leads Are Not Created Equal

A quality lead is not someone that just gives you their contact information, but also fits the profile of your target demographic. If they do not fit the demographic, they will most likely not convert and hinder the efficiency of your lead generation campaign. In economics, there is a concept called “the point of diminishing returns” when the effort/resources expended becomes disproportionately high compared to the output. Having a large list of unqualified names is not only unprofitable but puts a huge strain on your customer acquisition process.

Some customers are more ideal than others, meaning they will spend more, purchase related products your company offers and refer other clients to you. How you find the ideal lead is by analyzing your existing customer base, finding the high-quality customers and documenting the attributes that make up the ideal prospect. When you clearly know the leads you want to target, you reduce your CAC. There are numerous products and services offered by companies that can track analytics and can show you which channels to use to best convert.

Focus On Retention Not Just Acquisition

The best way to generate leads is to spend more on customer retention and less on customer acquisition. Studies show that only 12 percent of marketers focus on retention, despite the fact that it costs five times as much to acquire a new lead as opposed to retaining an old one.

When devoting resources to existing customers to either up sell, cross-sell, or resell your efforts will be focused and have a much higher probability of converting. A study by Bain & Company showed that just a 5 per cent increase in retention spending can yield anywhere from 25 per cent to 95 per cent in returns! This is especially true if you already started with a base of high-quality leads.

Quality over Quantity

It’s not about collecting as many leads as possible but rather collecting leads that are most likely to lead to a sale or stay engaged as a trademark advocate. These leads get added to the database where future communication with this lead is much more customized and most likely stems directly from a sales representative. In this screenplay, a brand would measure their spend vs the number of qualified leads that turned into sales.  The benefit that a lead would typically receive in this scenario would be a bounce-back offer towards the purchase.

How to Compile High-Quality Leads

To achieve a higher ROI, the answer is always quality leads.

One way to do so is by adding a question to your contact form. This will tell you who they are and the information you provide them is the value prop. Consider other incentives for your audience such as savings and unlocking “premium” content. This will not only draw more people to your content, but further establish that the lead has a need for what your brand provides, and hopefully your products/services.

Although businesses should be focused on generating high-quality leads, this does not mean there are “bad” leads. Some leads may not be ready to convert, and if your company can afford an outbound contact center or automated response service to make a connection with leads can be an invaluable solution to reducing the cost of customer acquisition.
