How to Write a Great Exploding Call to Action

Advertise you business right here.

Sometimes it is very difficult how to start your call to action. Here are some simple sentences to help you out  from this problem a lot of bloggers are facing every day.

1. Use Power Words

Great calls to action are emotional. They don’t waste valuable space with words like, “just.” They use words like “dream” or “million.” How about “Be the first” or “Find Your Million Dollar Idea Today.” All of these provoke some kind of emotion. Looking for some awesome power words? Just ask Google to assist you quickly.

2. Put Your CTA in the Right Place

Just like in real estate environment, the 3 most important words in digital marketing are location, location, location. Tons of research exists to tell you how people read a web page—and some of that research is actually useful. You might think that your call to action should be at the bottom of your page after all of your finely crafted sales copy but some people don’t want to read all the fluff. Some people will simply want to check out the offer without reading. Others may be ready to buy after one paragraph while others may completely miss the call to action if it’s only at the bottom of the page. That’s why a few CTAs in various locations on the page may work best. Try them in different places and start with these guidelines:

  • RED, Green and Orange buttons tend to convert the best.
  • Use first-person language. “Get My Free Report” instead of “Get Your Free Report.”
  • One of your calls to action should be above the fold so visitors don’t have to scroll to find it.
  • One action is enough. Tell your customer what you want them to do. Don’t use the CTA to present choices. You could give them a few choices at checkout, instead.

3. Keep It Short.

Having the gift of gab may make you a top-notch salesperson in face to face conversations but online, it’s all about getting to the point. The fewer words in your call to action, the better, in most cases. Take this 3 points in good consideration:

1 – Let XYZ company tell you how much it will cost to remodel your kitchen

2 – Call today for a free estimate!

3 – Let us make a person to person appointment !

Which of these two calls to action are most likely to get a response? The first call to action isn’t actually a call to action, and it is long and wordy. Plus it focuses on letting the XYZ company do something and that it’s something that will cost money. The second variation is short, to the point, tells the consumer to place a call, and focuses on the free estimate, not the cost of the work.

4. Test The Thing More Then Once

There’s a lot of science behind the call to action but the science is only a starting point. All the statistics and best practices may not work with your audience so test everything. Try a few different text ideas, button colors, button shapes, locations, web page designs. Test each of these individually. It’s going to take a while to test everything but once you find the winning combination you’re going to see some fantastic results. Even the best marketers in the business test various combinations. If they can’t get it right the first time, either can you. Now get to work and write a Call To Action that will get people flocking to your business!

2017 SEO Trends Watch It Happening

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail
Advertise you business here.

When it comes to SEO, you can never be as prepared as you should be. Google is constantly throwing out curve balls that affect ranking and they aren’t in the habit of announcing all of them. Some we’re aware of while answers to others will become apparent only as time goes by. Google’s end responsibility is towards their users – the company definitely won’t be making it easy for us to sit on page 1 without having us work for it.

With that in mind, it’s time to get prepared in 2017 and far beyond. This past year we’ve seen numerous changes happen to the Google algorithm. Those changes have affected how we do SEO, how we do paid advertising, and how and why we create content.

It’s time to check out the SEO trends we can expect this year. Word of caution – while these trend predictions are based on historical observation and experience, they might not all come to pass, or they might but Google might decide to throw something else at us. We can never know so it’s important to constantly measure things and stay in the loop.

Importance of Dense Content

At one point, Google got fed up with short snippets of text posing as posts and articles. They were short, uninformative, and served only one purpose – to clutter the Internet. So, with a few tweaks to the algorithm, Google made sure that these extremely short pieces of content would have a tough time ranking. They still have their place on the Web but they will be buried deep below long texts that cover topics in more detail.

However, this created another problem. Crafty content makers and SEOer started creating long, drawn out guides and articles that are well over 2,000 words. While in some cases this is necessary to cover the topic, most of the time it’s done because there’s an understanding that this type of content will rank better.

Why? Or better yet, who has the time for all that?

This year you’re going to have to focus on creating dense content – content that brings value with every word that’s on the page. No frills, no fluff and filler, just pure value. People have less and less time to read but they will still want detailed guides that aren’t borderline books. It’s going to be a challenge but a one that you’re going to have to tackle head on.

Accelerated Mobile Pages

Google is intent on bettering user experience at all cost. Their Accelerated Mobile Pages initiative is all about building a new standard of content creation that uses light versions of HTML and CSS. Because AMP pages are delivered from Google’s own hosted cached versions and thanks to their lightness, they load much faster.

Speed matters, folks!

Slow loading pages see a lot higher bounce rate and around half of your visitors will simply jump the ship if the page loads more than 3 seconds. This is particularly true for mobile users. In addition to ranking better, AMP content also performs better in terms of CTRs.

THE DIGITAL LUNCH BOX FOR EVERY NETWORK MARKETEER, MLM & DIRECTS SALES

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Like it or not, if prospects are not connecting with you and your business and/or services daily; growth will not happen. If you are looking for UNIQUE and sure fire ways to get customers in front of your business daily, below DIGITAL LUNCH BOX will list ways you can generate new customers and sales this week. These lead generation strategies apply to ONLINE lead generation tips.

So here we go. These are proven places that you can network that will bring you prospects, leads and sales.

  1. Purchase Lead Generation Software – this is a no brainer since it puts you right into new prospects looking at your business each day. There are two types of Lead generation software:

1a. brings you targeted prospects each day that you can call and introduce them to your business. Most lead generation software is tied into Auto responder software that can do the heavy lifting for you.

  1. FaceBook – let’s get serious here. There are about 5 new profiles that are created every 5 seconds. What this means is that each day you should have on your daily checklist to reach out to at least 10 people that you have never spoken to before; engage with at least 10 that you already know.

3.YouTube – Create a YouTube Channel; name it using your first and last name. This will speed up the process of branding yourself and make it easy for people to find you. “Remember people join people and not necessarily companies”. Start doing tutorial videos, tips and reviews and demonstrations. Always include a description on your videos that link back to your landing pages. This will help you drive traffic. Don’t forget to syndicate your videos by posting them on social media, blogs, articles, eBooks, forums and sites that will help you get more traffic

Google+ – This is a great Social Media Platform to get prospects, create branding, syndicate content and gain new followers. Make sure that you are using hashtags. Hashtags are when you add the (#) symbol in front of a key word that you want to be found for. If you have not yet created a Gmail account using your First and Last Name to make it easy for people to find you; do so right now. Then using that Gmail account, create and complete your Google+ profile.

4. Pinterest – Pinterest is a visual social media platform. A great place to add inspirational quotes, pictures of nature, lifestyle and your products. You can also use this to drive traffic back to your landing pages by adding your YouTube training videos. Get new clients and customers by marketing your products, sales, achievements, new team members, and company milestones. You can also use hashtags on Pinterest as well. You can also add the “Pin It” button on your browser so you can add pictures from your blog to drive traffic back to it.

5. Email Marketing – Email marketing will help you to generate sales and new clients even when you are not at your computer. You can use systems called Auto Responders to send emails to your list automatically. The Email marketing software that I recommend is Aweber or Response Magic. Email marketing allows you to build a relationship with your list by providing them with valuable content and tips to the solutions they are trying to find answers for. Doing so will turn your email list into customers that know, like and trust you.

6. Instagram – A social media platform that if used correctly can bring you lots of new clients. Instagram requires an app so you can post pictures, so download this first before getting started. Post pictures and videos to engage your audience; you can use hashtags under your images just like on Google+ and Facebook; which will help your post to be found by others. If you post inspirational quote images, personal lifestyle images, quick how to videos; this will get the most engagement. You can also use Instagram to link back to your capture pages and blog.

7. Twitter – A social media platform that has a search engine built in. Any key phrase you put in will bring up post; that are using that keyword. This is how people find and engage with others who are talking about a specific subject. Be creative here. If you’re a network marketer looking for new customers; then find people who are talking about subjects that you can engage with such as; “recruiting and prospecting tips”, “lead generation”, “health/wellness products”, and “engaging customers”. Another example: if you sell eye lashes, type that into the search box. See what people are talking about? If you see someone looking for them, follow them and start a conversation with them. Do not try to swoop in and make a sell just yet. Build the relationship first, this is key!

8. LinkedIn – A social media platform that has lots of daily visitors and a search engine built in. You can also use hashtags on LinkedIn. If you have not done so already, create a LinkedIn profile using your first and last name and a professional profile picture to make it easy for others to connect with you here. To help you get some traction going, use LinkedIn’s “find connections” feature that connects to your emails to find people that are on LinkedIn that you already know. Do not rush through putting your profile information together. This is an opportunity to shine and can be a huge selling tool for you. Take your time, include your associations, achievements, projects and accomplishments; include them all. Spend time daily reaching out to new people and searching for those who are a good fit for your business. As people accept your connection request, thank them and tell them a little about yourself. Create post daily and give valuable content this will help you with building a following and email marketing as well.

9. Blogging – There is a lot to be said about using blogging for lead generation. It’s very simple to build a blog most companies have templates that are already set up. Unlike times past, blogging is not just for those who love to write; it’s for those who do not love to write. There are systems that will turn your Facebook post into a blog post automatically without you doing nothing. The strategies listed above will help you get traffic to your blog. Post to your blog often then syndicate the content by sharing it to social media, forums, YouTube. Make sure you use blog platforms built for internet marketing this way there is no chance of it getting shut down.

10. Referrals/Getting Content Shared– When you post content online people will begin to share it. Post things that you would want to share. When people share your content acknowledge this by sending them a personal message to say “thank you”. There are times you may have to ask for the “share” in order to get your fans support.

So we can continue with more digital food to fill up the LUNCH BOX.

If you have more to digital food to share just send an email to our team.

THANKS A MILLION TO READ THIS.

IT IS TIME TO EARN THE MILLIONS THEN.

Reasons a Marketing Dashboard Is a Must-Have For Your Business

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Nowadays, customers are active on several social media networks and search engines. To be successful in business, you have to engage your customers at their favorite online hangouts. Failure to establish a strong online presence at all social networks and websites frequented by your customers can lead to loss of market share. But, therein lies the problem. Within a few short weeks, you could end up having a mountain of customer data to chew on and everything becomes confusing and, hard to manage.

Understanding Marketing Dashboards

Simply put, a marketing dashboard is a visual representation of the most important metrics of your marketing strategy. So, rather than get buried in acres of spreadsheets that you may not be able to quickly analyze and make a decision, you simply view your key performance indicators in a graphical easy-to-digest manner.

The following are six reasons why you should start using a marketing dashboard.

1.     Gives You a Bird’s Eye View

There is so much that happens during the execution of marketing strategy that you might get too focused on one task and fail to appreciate the bigger picture. A marketing dashboard helps you see if the overall objective of the business is being met even as you focus on tactics and campaigns.

2.     Improves Efficiency

A bird’s eye view allows you to notice patterns and trends that you may not otherwise have noticed. These are golden nuggets of information that allow you to tweak your campaigns  in terms of marketing resources. For example, you may notice a slowdown in traffic to your website which could lead you to increase your advertising budget. The result is a leaner more efficient marketing operation.

It is much easier to spot trends and patterns on a bar chart than in rows of numbers. You can also make quick comparisons. Also, one of the advantages of being able to spot a trend is that you can make projections about the future. This helps you plan ahead and execute your vision for the business.

3.     Monitoring and Comparison of KPIs

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are metrics used to appraise factors that are vital to business success. They differ from business to business. For example, for a business using its website to drive sales, a KPI could be the conversion rate of traffic from different social media networks. A KPI line graph could be set up to quickly compare which traffic converts better. Thus, if you find that traffic from Facebook converts better than Twitter traffic, you could reduce your Twitter advertising spend and reallocate it to Facebook. This is just one example. There are numerous ways depending on your business that you can monitor and compare your KPI’s and make an timely informed decision.

4.     See the Most Effective Channels

This is closely related to the previous point. With a marketing dashboard you can quickly tell which marketing channel is bringing home the bacon and allocate more resources to it.

5.     Generate Marketing Funnel Graphics

In ordinary use, the word “funnel” is used to refer to a tube or pipe that guides a liquid or powder into a small opening. To understand marketing funnels, you also first need to understand conversion. A conversion occurs on a website when someone takes some action that you want them to take. This could be making a purchase or simply completing a form.

A funnel is a series of steps that a website visitor takes that leads to a conversion.  In online marketing, a simple funnel is typically as follows:

  1. Visit a website
  2. View a product
  3. Add the product to the cart
  4. Make a purchase

A marketing funnel graphic is a visual representation of these steps. It allows you to see the under performing areas of your business and make improvements.

6.     Get Quick Insights into Your Website Visitors

A marketing dashboard can, at a glance, give you quick insights about your target market. For example, you can quickly see the demographics of your website visitors, for example; their countries, their cities, their age, their gender, their language, the technology they use to access your website and much more.  The more you know, the better placed you are to offer products and services that match their needs and wants.

Conclusion

In conclusion, a dashboard is a tool that allows you to see the most important stuff about your business, fast and efficiently. To make the most of data on your dashboard, just make sure that any data on your dashboard is actionable.

Networkers Let us GO Fishing for Leads

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

The first thing that I noticed when I got onto the small boat at the Nickerie river in Suriname, was the cleanliness and order of the boat. The skipper in charge had all of the rods, upright, with their lines neatly tucked away, in holders. The holders were made out of piping, about 30cm long, which had been welded to the side of the boat. For me it was a very special designed boat.

A simple, inexpensive aid had made me sit up and pay attention. This skipper thought about his customers, and this device left a strong impression. We then got a very short lecture on safety, checked we had our life jackets on, and off we went. Fishing with my friends. The cool box had our special drinks on board.

Finding the target market
About minutes later, the skipper stopped the boat, and told us we should find some Curaaz here. He explained that the lures on the hooks looked just like what Curaaz wanted to eat. It certainly was not something I would have fancied!

He explained that through his experience and the help of a little sonar gadget on his boat, that he knew there was a shoal of fish below. We all slung our rods over the side and dropped our lines, looking to catch the Curaaz.

Reeling in the sale
Now I don’t know about you, but this was totally new to some of us. I wound up the line frantically, as soon as I felt a tug, and hey presto, there were three fish dangling off the hooks. I started flailing about, one jumped off before I even got it in over the side, and when I was trying to reel it in the final bit I lost another one. The one that I got in, I lost down the gutter when I finally got it off the hook.

The skipper explained to me, that once a fish took the bait, I should give a quick tug on the rod, to make sure it was firmly hooked. I should then take my time, to reel it in. Secure the rod in the holder, with the fish hanging over the bucket and deal with them one by one – I did, and I ended up with 14 Curaaz fish, which delighted me, as I had set a target of 10, since one of my friends had caught 9 on his first time catching Curaaz.

So what are the lessons for marketing – if you are still with me, and have not already got most of them, here they are in business speak;
1. Set goals and targets that are realistic, and based on some valid foundation or research.
2. Have simple procedures set up, to make it easy to operate and for your customers to conduct business with you.
3. Speak in your prospects language, about what they want – it’s a bit like the fish bait, unlikely that strawberries and cream will catch many mackerel! Curaaz does not eat fruits. So once again put the right bait.
4. Once you know what your prospects like, find out where they are, do some research and target them accordingly – as in our example, not much point in putting down the exact bait in a shoal of Curaaz.
5. Once you get your customers attention, or have a lead, qualify it, and ensure you follow up at all time to close the sale. Again the use of a good sales process is essential here.

The bottom line, if you know what problems or desires your customers have, and you can solve or fulfill these, while providing value for money, you will always be a winner.

And if you don’t know the answer to that question, go ask the people who have already bought from you – they do!

I really hope that you are ready to start fishing effectively from now after reading this article. KEEP FISHING FOR LEADS THE RIGHT AND EFFECTIVE WAY(S).

The Waldorf Principle Networkers Like You Can Use to Grow More

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

The way to the top with people is by serving them extravagantly and sacrificially.  A simple clerk did this for Mr. Waldorf, and the rich tycoon returned to make that clerk his first hotel manager in New York.  People expect good service from leaders.  They are surprised when we serve them sacrificially.

One stormy night many years ago, an elderly man and his wife entered the lobby of a small hotel in Philadelphia.  Trying to get out of the rain, the couple approached the front desk hoping to get some shelter for the night.

“We’d like a room, please,” they husband requested.  The clerk, a friendly man with a winning smile, looked at the couple and explained that there were three conventions in town.  “All of our rooms are taken,” the clerk said.  “But I can’t send a nice couple like you out in the rain at one o’clock in the morning.  Would you perhaps be willing to sleep in my room?  It’s not exactly a suite, but it will be good enough to make you folks comfortable for the night.”

When the couple declined, the clerk insisted.  “Don’t worry about me; I’ll make out just fine,” he told them.  So the couple agreed to spend the night in his room.  As he paid his bill the next morning, the elderly man said to the clerk, “You’re an exceptional man.  Finding people who are both friendly and helpful is rare these days.  You are the kind of manager who should be the boss of the best hotel in the United States.  Maybe someday I’ll build one for you.”

Two years passed.  The clerk was still managing the hotel in Philly when he received a letter from the old man.  It recalled that stormy night and enclosed was a round-trip ticket to New York, asking the young  man to pay him a visit.

The old man met him in New York, and led him to the corner of Fifth Avenue and 34th Street.  He then pointed to a great new building there, a palace of reddish stone, with turrets and watchtowers thrusting up to the sky.  “That,” he said, “is the hotel I’d like you to manage.”

That old man’s name was William Waldorf Astor, and the magnificent structure was the original Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.  The clerk who became the first manager was George C. Boldt.  This young clerk never foresaw how his simple act of sacrificial service would lead him to become the manager of one of the world’s most glamorous hotels.

The way to the top with people is not just through service.  It’s through extravagant, sacrificial service.  When someone goes out of their way to help you, it makes all the difference in the world.

It’s the difference between getting a grumpy, inattentive waitress verus a professional, friendly server who you actually enjoy talking to and who allows a special order to fit your tastes.

It’s the difference between calling customer support and plowing through automated menus versus being instantly connected to a live person who goes out of their way to help.

It’s the difference between having a professor who just tolerates your questions versus having one who spends extra time and goes the extra mile to help you really grasp the material.

When others do their very best to serve us, their influence increases.  We don’t look down on them for serving us.  On the contrary, our respect level for them rises.  We’re often so impressed that we start considering ways we can serve them in return!  Their attitude and initiative is attractive.  As I discuss this with people, few disagree with the idea.  However, many don’t buy it.  Most don’t serve others this way because they fear being looked down upon.  They struggle with pride.  They feel serving others creates a view of them that is lower; after all – those at the top are being served!  Let me play a little game with you to show how wrong this assumption is.

Question: In your past, who has served you more than anyone else in the world?  The answer for most of us is our mother.  Moms usually do anything to serve their kids.  Now, think about this.  Do you think LESS of your mother for serving you, or MORE of her?  My guess is, your  love and respect for her goes up when she sacrificially serves.

It’s no different with us.  When we serve others, our influence increases as well.  My friend Zig Ziglar is famous for saying, “You can have everything in life you want if you just help enough people get what they want!”  It’s true.  He’s one of the most humble servant-leaders I’ve ever met, and he’s at the top of his field.

He’s not the only one.  Most of the great leaders I’ve run across have embraced the Waldorf Principle.  Case in point:  When Michael Eisner was CEO of Disney, his job description included “trash collecting.”  Just imagine, the CEO of a billion dollar organization, picking up trash at his own theme park.  Think about the kind of effect that must have had on his employees.  He could have just ordered someone else to do it.

It’s ironic.  You’d think that true influence would come through force – ordering others around and letting people know you’re the boss.  But just the opposite is true.  Real influence comes through humbly serving others.  It’s one of the greatest leadership paradoxes in existence.

Paths of Power

There are all sorts of ways you can go about achieving influence.  Some of them are better than others.   Take a look at the following list and see if you an identify which model you use most.  I’ve ordered from worst to best.

7. Force: People follow because they feel threatened and are overpowered.  They move unwillingly, and are quick to rebel if given the chance.  Unhealthy governments do this.  It’s the worst path to power.

6. Manipulation: People follow you because you coerce them.  You use words to trick them and back them into a corner.  They have no choice.  Folks resent being used and quickly seek a healthier environment.

5. Intimidation: People follow you because they are afraid not to.  They feel emotionally bullied by you and obey because they want to avoid being fired, hurt, embarrassed, ect…  This is the third worst path and is often used when quick action is needed.

4. Exchange: This is the most common path to power we use.  People follow you because you can do something for them.  Both parties receive something: you work; your boss pays you.  This path works, but it’s still temporal.  It’s over when one party finds a better deal.

3. Persuasion: People follow you because they are moved to cooperation.  They agree because of the ideas or incentives, which you provide.  This path now utilizes verbal expression, which makes others want to follow you.  Persuasion means “through sweetness.”

2. Motivation: People will follow you because you create excitement.  Your cause and your passion move others to action.  People willingly go where they would not have gone themselves.  This is an even better approach, but still not the best.

1. Honor: People follow you because you honor them through service.  You and your followers have a mutual respect for each other.  Others submit because you’ve earned their esteem.  This is the best path and the longest lasting form of leadership.  It earns fierce loyalty and commitment as a result.

Think again about the night that George Boldt served Mr. Waldorf and his wife.  He didn’t know who they were.  He didn’t see what they could give him in return one day.  He just honored anyone who came through the door.  And—he won them over.  When you take the path of honor your influence increases.  Even if you don’t have a formal leadership position at your school or work, you can still influence others.  Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Everybody can be great…because anybody an serve.  You don’t have to have a college degree to serve.  You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve.  You only need a heart full of grace.  A soul generated by love.”

The Waldorf Principle reminds leaders that the way to greatness is through sacrifical and extravagant service.  In November, 2005, Oprah Winfrey honored some people who practiced this principle, following Hurricane Katrina.  After that natural disaster, thousands of victims were displaced, without a home or food.  Many Americans left their own comfort to serve them—at times at great expense.  Mary Burnham was a nurse who wanted to serve the victims in Louisiana.  Her hospital wouldn’t give her time off to do it.  So, she quit her job.  Serving the less fortunate was more important to her.  Ryan Devin left Chicago to serve folks after the hurricane.  How did he pay for his trip?  He sold his World Series tickets—the tickets to watch his own Chicago White Sox play in a world Series they hadn’t been to in more than 80 years!  He had never missed a game in thirty years.  Extravagant?  Sacrificial?  You bet.  But if you want to connect with others, be a servant to them.  Forcing influence always backfires.  Earning influence through honor always pays off.  Remember the simple clerk, Mr. Boldt, and take the path of a servant leader.
