1. Your business is not what you say it is, your business is what Google says it is. If people Google your company, what do they think? If ideal customers search in Google for the services / products that you sell, they will find your company 2. Everything shifts to video. 3. Google owns YouTube. Already guessed on which platform I want you to publish like crazy? Exact, YouTube. For each company, what they have to do on that platform differs. But every company must be present there. The one must vlog. The other must post instructional videos. And yet another must report all major symposia and events from the industry. But from a sole trader to a multinational: make sure you take this 'wave'. The .com rise was a wave. Whoever got in at the time could do everything wrong and still get rich. The Crypto market was a wave. Those who entered at the beginning were a millionaire a few years later. Mobile apps was a wave. Google and Facebook advertising was a wave (warm leads for 10 cents, can you still remember?) YouTube is a wave. And we are still in the middle of the wave. You are not late. And just like with Google and Facebook ads, there are (especially large) companies that shout: No that does not work for our target group. In the meantime, companies such as: Lego (product for kids) BMW (cars) Google (software) Nike (clothing) Red Bull (Energy drink) Chanel (makeup) Millions in their YouTube channel. While there are also thousands of examples of singles that reach millions of people through their YouTube channel. So say it. Are you the exception? I do not think so. That is why I am planning now to invest a lot more in YouTube. Better productions for you. More questions answered. - Personal leadership - Power build-up - Lifestyle - Organization Leadership - Business financial mastery - Growth strategy Name them down, move on with the wave... For now: think about what I wrote in this email. What can you do to grab this YouTube wave? And to reap the benefits of that by the end of 2020?

Oil improvement information( Data collection) could help fuel Guyana eco-tourism industry
From the
Digital Desk of the
Caribbean Blog Authority
An abundance of information gathered during the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study for ExxonMobil’s third proposed seaward improvement in Guyana could help support the South American nation’s notoriety for being a prime bird watching hot spot in the Caribbean. Guyana is a neighbouring country of Suriname, both based on the South American continent.
In a special Environmental Impact Assessment the revelation of new bitd species in Guyana are recorded. What makes it more interesting is the fact that the discoveries of new bitd species were done in the span of two years spreaded over 117 destinations in different Regions. In the EIA it is indicated that 230 types of winged animals were recorded. This brings out that it is an expansion of 22 more species of what was recently known.
As per the Assessment, “Seaside destinations represented 212 species and island locales represented 140 species, with 121 species found at both beach front and island locales. It kept on pointing out that a considerable lot of the species recorded in the Coastal zone during the investigation were recently reported here.
Mitra Ramkumar, the President of The Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG), says that this data can be utilized to additionally support the nation’s notoriety for being a top bird watching destination for the world.
Ramkumar said bird watching is a significant fascination in the ecotourism business and has been assuming a key job in carrying guests to the nation.
“Bird watching is one of the attractions, that is the thing that draw in individuals to come to Guyana. Along these lines, as far as new species included, when somebody chooses where they will go for birding—and they accomplish something very similar for fish—they will verify what are the ones that they see as of now and afterward they take a gander at the other birding list and in the event that they see that there’s a bird that they never observed, at that point they will go to your goal to see that flying creature,” the THAG President clarified.
Guyana as of late got the Latin American Travel Association’s (LATA’s) “Best in Sustainable Tourism” grant. The nation received this recognition during LATA’s “Experience Latin America” held in the UK.
MOTIVATE YOURSELF..
Profiling yourself: how do you do that?
Profile yourself: something positive and natural for one person, a word with a negative sound for another. But profiling yourself is nothing more than ‘adopting a clear character of your own’.
Success factors in profiling
In that sense it has nothing to do with bragging. How do you profile yourself, how do you make yourself visible in the workplace?
By giving some extra attention to the points below you can profile yourself even better. Try to name them for yourself and write them down.
Self-awareness
Be aware of what you have at home. What is your talent? What are your motives? Name them for yourself. That way you can make them clear to others.
Transparency
Make it clear to colleagues how you approach things. In this way they get to know your approach, qualities and motivations. So communicate and keep others informed. Do a Personal branding training where you learn how to show more of yourself in a natural way.
Communicate concretely and powerfully
Support your story with practical examples. So make it concrete and do not weak yourself. Do not say that you ‘have a little experience with organizing’, but tell what experience you have gained.
Celebrate and share successes
“Modesty graces the human being”, that’s for sure, but it’s also nice to celebrate and share success and be proud of what you achieve together. Important factors: enthusiasm and honor that is due.
Stay in touch with the other person
Simple: if you want to be seen, then also see the other. For example, if you are celebrating a success, do not draw the success to yourself, but also mention the contributions of colleagues.
Dare to learn
Allow yourself the time to learn this. Start small and always go one step further. You need a small dose of guts, and a method that makes you feel comfortable. ‘I am introverted and service-oriented, so I don’t have to profile myself’ Profiling is not just for extroverts. Introverted people are also looking for means to profile themselves, means that suit them.
For example by e-mailing, writing and staying close to their substantive knowledge. You can do the latter by, for example, joining LinkedIngroups where you can show your expertise.
Short tips to profile yourself
- Explain to your colleagues what your day looks like.
- Walk in another department.
- Tell your supervisor what you have contributed; who can work better or faster thanks to your efforts? What do customers get from your contributions?
- Which people annoy you? What are they not doing well, or: what can you do better? That is probably a quality of you. Does anyone know that quality?
- Ask others what they see as your qualities. How could you better bring this to the attention?
- How do others (that you appreciate) present themselves?
- Accept a compliment with “thanks!” instead of weakening it.
Living to the MAX in this so busy world
Flexibilisation of society makes people restless and restless. For some, this endless life is a pleasure and a privilege, and for others it is a curse. We are all intertwined in a society that surrenders itself completely to the rat race in order to get the most out of life. Especially the elitist nature of this phenomenon and the problem of maintaining control over your life must be kept in mind when you hear a hymn of praise about endless life.
Restless people
Living life to the max, taking out what’s in it. That seems to be the motto of our time. We want to progress in our work, maintain a large circle of friends, have a healthy lifestyle, be a good parent and partner, and develop ourselves. The flexibilisation of society and a variety of new technologies also makes it possible to do all this interchangeably. It’s just as easy to do an errand or exchange the latest whatsapps while you’re at work as it is to prepare a meeting for the next day on the couch in the evening. No wonder we’re busy and sometimes need some rest.
Restlessness, a plea
for an endless life, the ‘busy, busy, busy’ that we hear all around
us is not a call to take it easy. Nor is it a phenomenon that is
particularly new. We are restlessly looking for new challenges.
We
prefer hunting to loot. When the booty is in, boredom and
restlessness are imminent. It is true that we reward ourselves with a
temporary moment of dispersion, but then the next item on the
infinite agenda soon follows.
Our fundamental
motive is the continuous pursuit of progress.
Who you are and
what you do is no longer a fixed fact, which means that you have to
make choices over and over again without knowing whether they are the
right ones. That creates restlessness. We live like an acrobat who
doesn’t know exactly which exercises will keep him from falling. All
that remains for us to do is to be constantly alert to the risks of
life and then plunge fully into active life. This is how we build an
existential CV. This construction project only ends when death
occurs. I don’t scare you as a reader, but read on…
…who are also looking for peace and silence
At the same time,
modern man is regularly visited by a little devil who offers us a
quiet and ascetic existence. In order to (temporarily) escape the
hectic existence we regularly resort to zen or other forms of
meditation, mindfulness and yoga. It does not bring real peace,
because the lesson, exercise or course has not yet ended or the
project ‘life’ has been revived.
As long as we remain at the
mercy of our wishes – with all the hope and fear that this entails –
as long as we are subject to our will, we will never have lasting
happiness or peace.
At the same time, our life, combined with
the constant acceleration of our existence, which is accompanied by a
strong increase in means of communication, the fact that we are
always online and the pursuit of ever more fleeting goals, can affect
the quality of our existence. The continuous flow of communication
that results from this leads to superficiality.
For me,
that’s a side issue. I especially see the opportunities, the
challenges, the possibilities to lead a passionate, exciting turbo
life and advocates for an endless immersion in the ‘vita assets’. Why
should we live a quiet or balanced life? Many will repeat it to me
and live by it, because blogger, speaker, husband, friend, etc. and
probably much more, an exponent of my own philosophy.
Personally,
I am also very sympathetic to things and try to get the most out of
it, just like others.
In my opinion, two aspects remain
underexposed, which are important to understand whether restlessness
really is such a blessing for the modern man of our time. The first
concerns the question of the distribution of opportunities and
possibilities to live a passionate life.
The second question
concerns the organisation of restless life and the fact that each
individual is part of numerous networks and associations which make
demands on him or her or at least have expectations about the active
involvement of the individual.
Many of you all
experience the same restlessness and are satisfied with it because it
gives a feeling of real life: performance on many fronts
simultaneously leads to the feeling of a fulfilled life. In
principle, this should apply regardless of rank or status – and in a
way, of course, this is the case. The nurse, agent, garbage
collector, teacher, bank employee or shed can all go down in a
restless existence. They can throw themselves into their work to make
the best of it. As a thoughtful person, I can also say that restless
life is mainly reserved for the Goliaths of our world.
Control
That brings me to my next point. To what extent is the individual still at the helm when the social relationships in which he or she participates demand more and more of him or her? What is the space to say no or to do anything other than what the environment demands of us? If we are part of different (sub)systems in which we play a role – be it within our immediate family, our work, the sports club, or any other context – then we are expected to be actively involved.
It is not enough, then, to say that crowdedness is not an exclusive challenge for our time, nor that a lack of experienced meaningfulness of life can also arise in an environment that is free from social pressure. The central question is whether the organisation of our life and work leaves the individual in all his or her subsystems the (control) space to operate the accelerator of restlessness.
Differences in degrees of freedom and control space between different groups of individuals require further analysis in order to determine where and when the risks of restlessness also leading to serious forms of stress increase. This is not just about the ‘coping behaviour’ of an agile acrobat, but about creating safe structures in which others can also enjoy their restlessness. Where that does not happen, restlessness seems to be the privilege for those who can afford it.
There is always a sacred need in the working environment and in the private sphere. However, this is not only a sacred must that is imposed from the outside, but is also stimulated from the inside. The challenge, however, will be to find the control panel and gain control of it, because ‘Living to the max’ explicitly includes risks – for ourselves and for the connections and networks of which we are a part.
I hope that with this somewhat philosophical approach I have informed you as a reader enough to press your brake pedal and to evaluate yourself and make adjustments where necessary.

Why a diverse ecosystem of money can do us good
A Short intensive message from the Caribbean Blog Authority to the Caribbean Region.
Community coins appear all over the world. From the Bangla Pesa in Kenyan slums to the London Brixton Pound: alternative currencies make a different economy possible, in which groups of people can give value to things that are today considered economically worthless, or with which local economies can become more resilient. How does the phenomenon work? It is absurd for our money system to work with monoculture, while we know from biology that if there is something wrong with that one culture that you are planting in your field, you have a huge problem. We also saw that during the financial crisis of ten years ago. " In nature there is almost no waste, everything is reused. Just as we can use the natural cycle for our own gain, we must also be able to come sooner or later to a diverse ecosystem of money that can do us all good in, among other things, the Caribbean. For deep consideration I wish to quote the following: People who are concerned about sustainability - with issues such as climate change, environmental degradation, food and water shortages, population growth and energy consumption - are inclined not to worry too much about the money system. They are also not looking for solutions in monetary innovations. Even economists who are also concerned about sustainability are rarely aware that our money system systematically encourages unsustainable patterns of behavior that eventually threaten the survival of people on this planet. Is money monoculture or a large pyramid scheme that increases inequality in the world.
There is hope: The good news is that the information and communication revolution that we are experiencing today is pushing us in the right direction. The Caribbean Region is facing major challenges.
If you don’t agree with me, I respect that, but this is just my personal opinion. Thanks for reading anyway.Triggers are smoke signals which tells you there is fire somewhere….

Five exercises for a good night’s sleep after a busy day
We all know that a good night’s sleep is important. A good bed, a dark bedroom and little noise contribute to a good night’s sleep. Here are my favorite five exercises which gives me nice moments to relax. Try them for yourself so that you go to bed with a calm head.
1. Breathing exercise
Healthy breathing is of vital importance. If you are just thinking about something stressful, your breathing and your heartbeat will rise. By breathing in and out very consciously through your nose you can delay your breathing. Your breathing can also help you to get out of your head and to have more attention for your body. An exercise that helps to breathe deeply and calmly is the following:
- Find a place where you can sit or lie down.
- Close your eyes and breathe in and out through your nose.
- Breathe in four counts, hold your breath for two counts, exhale for six counts.
- If step three goes well, you can try to breathe in four beats, hold two beats, and exhale eight beats. Repeat this a number of rounds.
- Return your natural breathing and feel for a moment.
2. Yoga posture: the broken candle
The broken candle is a yoga posture, known for its stress-reducing and relaxing nature.
- Find a spot near a wall, lie in front of the wall, raise your legs against the wall. You can put a folded blanket under your sit bones.
- Put one hand on your heart and one on the belly.
- Breathe calmly and see if you can feel your heart beating and your belly moving through your breathing.
- Stay in this position for about 5 minutes.
- Move your legs back down and roll up through your right side.
3. Relaxation exercise: meditation
Before going to sleep it can be nice to do a relaxation exercise, such as meditation. A guided relaxation exercise is great if you don’t have much experience with it. Make sure that you are ready to go to sleep so that you can remain lying down after the exercise. You can listen to an example of a relaxation exercise here.
4. Sleeping mantra
Are you lying in bed and you notice that you are very busy in your head? Then this exercise might help you.
- Be aware of the unrest in your head, because then you can do something about it.
- Choose three words that will make you feel good, that will make you happy.
- Make those words your own sleeping mantra. The word mantra comes from Sanskrit and literally means: man = mind and tra = control. It is about repeating a word or sentence that gives you a positive feeling.
- Repeat the words quietly one after the other so that your attention remains focused on it rather than on the troubled thoughts in your head.
5. Mindset
If you have done the above exercises and you are still experiencing sleep problems, try accepting that it is not working right now. See if you can enjoy lying a bit. To be able to sleep we go from the do position to the being position.
Sleep tight!
MY TEN GOOD TIPS TO NETWORK LIKE A PRO
Networking is very important in every kind of work. Making and maintaining contacts provide lines where you need them when you least expect them.
By networking you ensure business relationships within and outside your organization. You open any doors to the future. Maybe you have been in conversation with someone from a very nice company and you now have the chance to ask if they still need someone there. If you already know someone from that company, you are one step ahead of other applicants. Of course it is important that this person knows your good qualities. We will list other points that are important below.
Tip 1: Stay authentic
You are authentic if you pursue your own goals, without ignoring the other. Important tips: ask what someone really thinks or feels, be selective in naming your annoyances, stay honest about important things (and sometimes less honest about less important things) and stay true to your values.
Tip 2: Network from your heart
Dare to show who you are and dare to make real contact with the other. Positive effect: you will notice that your environment will react from that connection: better communication, more motivation and more job satisfaction are a consequence. As a management assistant you can be an optimal connecting link between people.
You will experience that with the people you have more connection with, things will run more efficiently. After all, you can do business purely because it is imposed or more because you want to do it for the other. You grant it to the other and it is awarded to you.
Tip 3: Who does well, meets well
Determine what unique qualities, ambition and passions you have in you and use them for the other. If you do that with surrender, you will get a lot of satisfaction out of it yourself and you will receive it back later. Who does well, meets well.
Tip 4: Make yourself visible
Three in four jobs are filled from the network of employees and other contacts. Meanwhile, 90% of HR advisers, recruiters, recruitment & selection and secondment agencies are looking for the right person for a vacancy via LinkedIn. Recruiting via LinkedIn saves time and money: no vacancy costs and the vacancy is filled quickly due to short lines and reliable sources. Very EFFECTIVE !
With a well-structured and insightful LinkedIn profile you are found and you contribute to the transparency of the labor market. In combination with the tools that LinkedIn offers to find the right position and the person within your network who can help you with that, the profile is an effective and efficient means of achieving your goal if you do not survive a reorganization: off-work -to work.
Tip 5: Respond to your conversation partner
The easier you recognize the communication styles of a conversation partner, the better you can respond to them.
Women appear to be able to do this better than men. A cooperative communication style allows you to create connection and support. When you communicate in a clear and positive way, this contributes to your popularity.
The way in which you communicate and the extent to which you adapt to other communication styles is partly determined by your personality. This means that how you communicate is not only predictable, but also changeable. Good news.
Tip 6: Strengthen your ‘circle of influence’
Networking only works if you really have a network. Make sure you meet the right people for your network, so that you increase your influence. A few tips: join a women’s or secretary network in your area, sign up for the LinkedIn support group and meet colleagues via Management Support.
Tip 7: Believe in yourself
Believing in yourself is a condition for being able to live fully and forcefully and the key to winning the trust of others. Faith and trust are the basis for putting something down. If you do not believe in yourself or do not trust yourself, you can do your best very hard, but little will change.
Faith and trust are connected. The crisis was caused by a lack of confidence, for example in the credibility of banks. That is why the crisis will only really end when there is confidence again. And trust in others starts with trust in yourself.
Tip 8: Give the other a rose
Do you want to connect with your colleagues? Send a conversation the positive side? Do you want to convince people of your proposal or thought? Making sure that you get to the “Together side” instead of the “Counter side”? Use the rules of the Rose of Leary. De Roos van Leary is a model that shows how influencing works.
It is a simple but brilliant working model when looking at action-reaction between people and it comes down to behavior that evokes behavior. So if you want someone else to behave differently, you will have to change your own behavior to begin with.
Tip 9: Don’t pick it up, bring it
Networking is: being willing to open up your own network and knowledge to someone else. Networking simply consists for the most part of: giving. Sincerely listen to the other, give a compliment, be open and do something for someone else. You are actually working on your own gun factor with this. Moreover, others get to know you better.
Tip 10: Make sure you are where it happens
Visit things like Workshop Days and the and other Social/Leadership/Management Support Events, Social Gatherings etc.Just go where the show is.. The places to connect and hear how you can shape your connecting role even better. Top speakers give tips, tricks and a good dose of inspiration and humor. Design your day yourself and learn everything to use your talents. Visit these kinds of events and put yourself in a good position to network.
