8 Simple Steps To Long Lasting Happiness And Fulfillment

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

We all want to live happy lives, don’t we? But the sad truth is that many people don’t get to live happy lives – they just waste away in their negativity. If you want to achieve long-lasting happiness and fulfillment, here’s how:

  1. Know what you really want

You have to know what will make you happy, otherwise, no matter how hard you work, you’re never going to be satisfied. Having goals and dreams is important, but determining if it’s really going to make you happy is a more important question.

  1. Live life to the fullest

You only get to live once, so live your life to the fullest. Have a bucket list of things you would like to do before you leave this world behind. Every time you tick off an item on your list, you’ll feel very happy!

  1. Learn from your mistakes

Being afraid of failure is hard enough, but not learning from your mistakes is another matter altogether. If you never learn from your mistakes, then you wouldn’t be able to get to where you want to be!

  1. Do what you love to do

If you’re stuck in a job you hate, then seek out the right job for you. If you don’t, then you’ll be trapped, and you’ll end up bottling all your resentment inside which will ultimately lead to negative thoughts.

  1. Be grateful for what you have

You’ll always have something to be thankful for. Sometimes in our quest for happiness, we forget the people who’ve been behind us all along. Count your blessings and be grateful always.

  1. Go outside your comfort zone

If you’re too afraid to leave your comfort zone, then you’ll find it hard to chase your dreams! Don’t be afraid to push your boundaries to find what truly makes you happy.

  1. Have positive-minded friends

If you’re surrounded by positive people, then you’ll find yourself thinking positively all the time, too. You’ll feel happier and more fulfilled because you won’t be thinking bitter, negative thoughts.

  1. Connect with yourself

How well do you really know yourself? If you don’t know who you are, then you’ll find it hard to define what really makes you happy, and what doesn’t. Knowing who you are is an important part of discovering the path to long-lasting happiness and fulfillment!

MAKE SURINAME THE CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAIN TRAVEL

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail
SURINAME must resolutely withdraw the train card
Make SURINAME the center for international train travel

Without flying, but still traveling wonderfully between the three Guyana's. Definitely a dream that can really be realized through good policy. It is a strong initiative that will certainly encourage people to respond negatively, but even more so to encourage people to travel more ecologically.

And look: In the end, these doom-mongers are also making good use of traveling. For the coming period, there is certainly work to be done for the three Guyanese governments to work together to make a good travel product out of it.

Suriname can play an important pioneering role with the support of experts.

Pioneering role for Suriname

With a perfect long-term vision and mission, I believe that Suriname will be able to draw and earn a lot in this.
Transport by train seems to be an impossible puzzle, but it is to be done at this time in order to travel efficiently via air and road networks via a railroad (traveling between the three Guyana's).
Isn’t it not great for all of us to be able to act as the central hub. Why do not we all make Suriname then a real center for international train traffic.

All ingredients are present.

Suriname is good and has a great appearance as a country with the most green in the world. In the future it can further map out for the international train passengers.

The benefits for us as a country will be enormous and will bring about a certain economic spin off. Just think of the extra jobs that extra trade matters bring to an international train station, or the coordination of an extensive Inter Guyana’s train network.
In addition, travelers will also be more inclined to include a day to/from Suriname, Guyana or French Guiana in their travel plans. Furthermore, interested people will join. In addition, you will also gain more time to travel between the three Guyana's.

Long live the train, but can it be cheaper?

Every beginning will be severe and will cause teething problems, but nonetheless it will bring benefits and open ways to more possibilities. I am convinced that with today's technology, a train has far less CO2 emissions than an airplane. Check-in and check-out often cost you hours when flying and an airport is often outside the city, which also means a lot of time and frustration. I already place myself in such a unique train connection that runs along the three Guyana's. While traveling you will enjoy much more of the green landscape. You will make a pleasant stopover and yes, if you wish, you can make more comfortable comparisons with fellow travelers from all corners of the world. A train connection will also become a social service to transport people to and from various destinations. Furthermore, it contributes to a certain extent to our commitment to achieving the climate targets and keeping them manageable, you create many more jobs and our country can generate more. It seems a logical step for me and many others, but somewhere deep it remains silent for the time being. In addition, there are a few measures that would make rail passengers so much more comfortable. Simple reservation systems, and much more. Oh yes, maybe this railway of the future is also the new alternative to take your bike or something similar. The possibilities are there, the tracks are there, the lines are there, now the countries have to sit together to coordinate everything.

Making the right choices

But unfortunately, the reverse choices have been made in recent years. Where this would be, I leave you as a reader to ravel about it. What I can say is that it is not too late to get back on the right track.
The sometimes incomprehensible evolution can certainly be better understood later on and development can be rolled out effortlessly.

For me, the three Guyana's of the future is a unique part of the continent of South America where ecological and responsible travel is the easiest and cheapest choice for travel within the borders.

The three Guyana's where the card for the train is decisively pulled, with less CO2 emissions, less time loss and more travel pleasure as a result.

Certainly know that the world traveler is ready, now politics has to follow and the right choices are to be made.

This is only a real trigger for anyone who thinks positively and certainly has faith that things can actually be realized.

7 Reasons Why Laughter Really Is The Best Medicine

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

There’s no denying the fact that having a sense of humor is important. It helps heal wounds, mend relationships, and generally brings about positive things to your life. Laughing won’t cost you anything, it’s free and is readily available. Here are the top reasons why you should consider laughing more often:

  1. It lessens the negative effects of stress

When you’re feeling stressed out, hang out with someone you know can make you laugh. Someone who knows which buttons to push to draw out laughter from you. You’ll feel much better after and you’ll feel like a ton of weight has been lifted off your shoulders.

  1. It makes you feel happy

Look at the way children laugh. They laugh with so much abandon that you’ll find yourself laughing along with them. A child’s uninhibited laughter is contagious. It really does make you feel happy.

  1. It makes you think positively

When you laugh you forget your worries for a brief period of time. Your thoughts get diverted from negativity to positivity. Watch your favorite comedy on TV or on YouTube, and you’ll forget whatever it was that was bothering you!

  1. It helps ease the pain

When you’re sick, you feel pain when you move around. You think dark thoughts that aren’t really helping you recover from your illness. With laughter, however, you are able to ease the pain even for just a bit. You’ll probably still be sick, but at least you’ll be more comfortable as your mind is no longer focused solely on your pain.

  1. It makes you more resilient

No matter what life throws at you, if you have a sense of humor, you can get through almost anything. You’ll have negative thoughts after something catastrophic happens to you, but with your humor, you’ll always find a way out of the darkness.

  1. It makes you feel relaxed

Laughter can help you overcome your negative thoughts. Once that’s out of the way, you’ll feel so much better. You’ll feel happier, and you’ll feel more relaxed. When you’re around other people, you’ll be more open to meaningful and fun conversations.

  1. It strengthens relationships

When you share laughter with other people, it makes you feel closer to them. You share a special bond that laughing together has created. As long as you don’t laugh at someone else’s expense, then you’re building strong and positive relationships with people.

WHY NUTRITION, SLEEP AND EXERCISE ARE IMPORTANT FOR SUCCESS

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

No matter who you are, but as human I like to share the following with all of you…

Be honest: how well do you take care of yourself? Or are you also such a hard worker? The care for your health should actually come first, even before your work. If you are not healthy, you can not be successful. In this way, nutrition, sleep and exercise (not) contribute to your success:

Nutrition If you are at work from early in the morning, you will have a raging hunger at lunchtime. You long for a hearty lunch, such as a thick slice of bread or pasta salad. Whether you give in to high-calorie food, such as a croquette. Recognizable? Have you ever thought about what a carbohydrate and calorie-rich lunch does with your productivity? A few hours later, the inevitable energy dip follows. For that reason, many people drop in at noon. Research shows that if you eat more fruit and vegetables during lunch, your afternoon is not only more productive. You also feel more involved in your work and even happier. The best you can eat in the course of the morning,so that you have enough of a tasty salad with fresh vegetables or fruit during lunch.

Sleep
Work can take a lot of time. Do you already work before the sun goes up and do you stop working when the sun is (almost) under? Do you check your email in the evenings or do you just walk behind the computer to finish something after dinner? Small chance that your body gets enough rest. Rest is important, because a sleep deprivation can not only lead to more stress. You can also suffer from your cholesterol. A lack of sleep can even lead to reduced cognitive abilities. In other words, your performance will suffer if you do not get enough rest. What to do? Maintain fixed work and sleep times. Get up when the alarm goes off and plan some time at the end of the day to let go of your work. Avoid sleeping late, because then you disturb your sleep rhythm.

Movement

Exercise helps to relieve stress and to get away from daily worries at work. In addition, sports protect you from depression and other mental barriers to success. Often it does not work to allow yourself to go for a walk during the lunch or to exercise as soon as you get home. In the issues of the day you forget your intention easily. In the evening you often give priority to your work (or TV). Therefore make movement a part of your daily schedule. Put in your agenda for half an hour to an hour and stick to it. After exercising you feel lighter, more energetic and happier. You can do more physically and also mentally you can have more. That too contributes to success.

What are you doing to take care of yourself? Share it below in the comments!

DON’T WORRY ABOUT WHAT OTHERS THINK ABOUT YOU !!

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Do you know the best way to get exhausted? Then ask yourself what others (of you) think:

Fantasize very intensely what they feel, think or want. Try to fill in all their thoughts, try to guess their opinion, try to take it into account.

Do that for a week and I’ll bet you’ll be dead …

Not a good idea!

Does this work?

Yet this is exactly what many people do. And it never works. That is not possible at all.

Short question: To what extent do you have your own thoughts under control? Do you determine exactly what you think? Is there never something unexpected or negative? Do you know exactly what your next thought will be?

No of course not…

A Gorilla in an astronaut suit

If you already have little control over your own thoughts, how much control do you have over what another person thinks?

Try to guess what I think now … (think carefully) …

I thought of a Gorilla in an astronaut suit!

Even if I had thought of something simpler, you would not have guessed it yet. Come on, see the reality: You have no control over what another person thinks!

Why are we so concerned about what others think? Why are we busy talking to others in our heads?

Oh yes, you do too: You see in your thoughts how someone else says something. You hear yourself respond. You feel the negative emotion.

And do you know what’s funny? Many of these conversations never took place! Not in reality, only in our fantasy …

Why do we fill in what others think?

Because we want to take this into account. We do not want them to say something bad. We worry what they think of us. We prefer to make a good impression. We want positive and healthy relationships with others. We want to be liked. We do not want a fight.

Because we are still nice?

All beautiful motives, but worrying about what someone else thinks, does not help you any further. Unless you have supernatural abilities. I do not have them and therefore prefer to do what someone else does or says.

What they think is entirely up to them. But what they do or say, I can respond to that.

Why are you responsible for the opinion of someone else?

Everyone has an opinion – about everything. But why are you responsible for that?

If I disapprove you because you (in my eyes) wear the wrong shoes, where is that the problem? The problem lies with my opinion about your shoes, not with you or the shoes themselves.

Do you see the difference?

Now you can worry about my mistaken opinion, but maybe I’m allergic to that kind of shoes. Maybe I knew someone who stood on my toes with that kind of shoes – and I had a lifelong trauma.

Maybe it all has little to do with you and therefore more with myself – and that is usually the case!

Can we change someone else’s opinion?

We often try to do it. We explain what we mean, we try to be extra nice, we do our best a bit more.

But why should we?

If someone else realizes that you are nice (and I assume that you are nice), then they will not see it later either.

Sometimes you can stand on your head, but the opinion of someone else just stands. Whatever you do, it does not change.

Suppose it would be the other way around: Would you appreciate it if the other person tried to change your opinion? Of course not. Everyone is entitled to an opinion …

This costs a lot of energy:

  1. Try to fill in what others think.

You have no control over my thoughts – nor do I have your own.

  1. You feel responsible for their opinion.

The opinion of another is only his or her responsibility.

  1. Try to change that opinion.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Let it go…

Here is a healthier and relaxed alternative: Just let go of what another person thinks.

Sticking your energy only in people who give you energy is one of the secrets of healthy relationships.

Of course you take account of others, of course you are social. That will not change. You only let go of what you do not have control over.

Three healthy alternatives:

  1. Only fill in what you think yourself. That is the only thing that you have control over.
  2. When in doubt about the opinion of another person: Just ask. Stop every fantasy and check reality. Then you do not have to doubt it either.
  3. Give someone an opinion that is not yours. You do not have to walk around all day, so why can not someone have another opinion?

Letting go of what another person thinks will give you a lot of positive energy and relaxation.

Moreover; it gives you a tremendous liberation!

How do you let go of what others think?

How do you stop worrying about others and pay more attention to what YOU think?

Work on your Self-Confidence This is a good starting point. This gives you a healthy self-respect so that you take more account of your own wishes and your own feeling.

Work on better relationships, teach yourself to find the right balance between yourself and others. With this you learn to determine your own limits and to stay more with yourself.

Whatever you choose, do not stay busy with what others think, you (fortunately) do nothing about it!

I would like to hear your experience or question(s) about this subject

On your success! … IT IS NOT AN EASY ROAD !!

7 Easy Methods To Have Happy Thoughts Throughout The Day

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Feeling happy throughout the day isn’t impossible. Sure, you may have some ups and downs in your day, but you never let those down moments linger. Instead, you capitalize on your ups to help sustain your positivity throughout the day. Here are seven ways you can make sure you have happy thoughts daily:

  1. Have a daily to-do list

Your to-do list doesn’t have to be set in stone, but it should basically plan out what you’re going to do on that day. Sure, you can do something spontaneous but sticking to a to-do list will help you feel happy everytime you tick something off that list.

  1. Reward yourself for every small win

Every time you do something on your to-do list, you can give yourself a pat on the back. Or you can go stand up from your computer, and take a short break. Having a reward system in place is important to keep motivating yourself.

  1. Look forward to making someone smile

When you make someone smile, you feel great too. You feel happy, and you think positive thoughts. When someone smiles at you, you feel compelled to smile back at them too.

  1. Do something kind every day

Random acts of kindness will make you feel happy. Whether you’re helping out someone you know or a total stranger, you’re doing a good deed. When you do something kind because you want to do it, you don’t feel compelled to take photos so you can post on social media. Genuinely kind people don’t need to broadcast their activities to the world.

  1. Compliment someone and mean it

When you compliment someone and mean it, you make that person happy. However, if you make a fake compliment, it can backfire on you so make sure you avoid doing that. If you’ve got nothing nice to say, don’t say anything.

  1. Go for a quick run

A quick run or brisk walking in your street or building during your breaks is a good idea. If you’re feeling overwhelmed with work, doing short bursts of exercise will help you get back on track and help you think happy thoughts again.

  1. Hang out with happy people

Who better to help you think happy thoughts than hanging out with them happy folks? Positive people will influence you to think happy thoughts instead of bad ones.

5 Tricks To Become A Positive Thinker In No Time At All

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Positive thinkers didn’t become positive people overnight. It’s not like they went to sleep one night as negative thinkers and the next day they woke up thinking positively all the time.

Learning how to think positively is a work in progress, you’d need to invest the time and effort to train yourself to let go of your negativity. Here are five tricks you can start practicing today to help you master positive thinking in no time at all.

  1. Embrace the morning ritual habit

Many successful entrepreneurs have a morning ritual habit, so if you ever want to achieve your dreams, you should work on acquiring this habit as well. You’ll learn to sleep early so you can wake up early in the morning, too.

You’ll learn to do your most important activities in the morning – exercise, writing in your journal, planning your day, etc. – so you increase your productivity and of course, your positivity.

  1. Read good books

You may be too busy to finish a book per day, but surely you can squeeze in a few minutes per day to read a few pages or maybe even an entire chapter.

But, don’t just read any kind of book. Choose books where you’ll actually learn a new skill or two, or something that will help improve your life.

  1. Smile and laugh

There’s nothing wrong with being serious, but we should always find the time to smile and laugh every single day. Share a joke with your family, friends, and coworkers.

Watch a funny TV show or go on YouTube to look at funny cat videos. There’s a reason why those kinds of videos go viral! People love them because it cheers them up!

  1. Think happy thoughts

Only you know what kind of thoughts make you happy. Whatever it is, try to conjure an image of that object, person, dream, goal, etc. whenever you feel down or when you start imagining negative scenarios. Learn to use your happy thoughts to block out all the negativity your mind conjures!

  1. Count all your blessings

Even the poorest person in the world has got something to be thankful for. Whether it be your family, friends, love, material wealth, success, etc. if it makes you happy then count it as a blessing. Write it down if you can so you don’t ever forget!

4 Ways Exercise Can Help Develop Your Positive Thinking

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Exercise is fun. Exercise is healthy. Exercise is important. Exercise is also tiring, and the sweat makes you feel icky.

For those who agree with the first three sentences, you’re on your way to developing your positive thinking! On the other hand, the last statement is what most negative thinkers would say whenever someone reminds them to go exercise, so I hope you didn’t agree with that!

Here are four ways exercising regularly can help you become a positive thinker.

  1. It boosts your energy levels

If you feel tired and sluggish and all you want to do is lie down in bed, but you’ve still got a lot of work to do, then you may want to go for a quick run around your neighborhood. Try brisk walking or jogging for 5 or 10 minutes and see how you feel afterward.

Alternatively, you can also try skipping rope or doing sit ups or push ups during your breaks. Ask yourself if you felt good after. If you did, then that’s exercise boosting your energy levels right there!

  1. It helps improve your social skills

If you like to work out alone, in the comfort of your house, then it’s obviously not going to help improve your social skills. However, if you go to the gym or join a running club, or something similar, then you’ll be around people who like to take care of their bodies.

As long as you don’t confine yourself to the corner, and learn how to make new friends, then you’ll greatly improve your social skills.

  1. Better sleep at night

Getting a good night’s sleep is important. And one of the best ways you can get it is by exercising regularly. Exercise helps you fall asleep faster, and it helps you sleep deeply, too.

If you’re tired of waking up cranky in the morning because you keep waking up in the middle of the night, then try exercising to improve the quality of your sleep!

  1. Improves mood

When you exercise, you experience an increase of endorphins. Endorphins are hormones that make us happy and feel positive. It makes us feel good while at the same time it diminishes pain.

When you exercise, you feel good afterward, provided, of course, you did not abuse your body or worked it way too hard. If you’ve ever heard of ‘runner’s high,’ it’s the endorphins that cause that feeling of euphoria!

4 Secret Ways To Overcome Negative Thoughts

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Overcoming negative thoughts isn’t easy. You’ve got to be aware when your thoughts start turning negative, and you feel negative emotions rushing to the surface. In this article, you’re going to learn four ways you can conquer your negative thoughts.

  1. Tell yourself to stop

With self-awareness, you can easily tell yourself to STOP the moment you start feeling negative. When you feel like your thoughts are turning darker with each passing moment, and you feel rage, anger, sadness, fear, or other similar negative emotions intensifying, then you need to pause. Take a deep breath. Tell yourself to STOP.

And when you tell yourself to STOP, then you better believe yourself. You can’t just say STOP, and then go on thinking negative thoughts. You’ve got to reign in those emotions and do your best to replace them with positive thoughts.

  1. Don’t live in the past

Negative people usually dwell on the past. We’ve all had bad things happen in our past, but it’s the negative thinkers who continue to get stuck in it. Whatever has happened in the past should stay in the past.

You should learn to make peace with it so you can move forward. Getting closure is an important part of the process of learning to let go of the past. So, get it done as soon as you possibly can!

  1. Talk to yourself positively

Imagine yourself as your very own best friend. If your best friend was feeling down, you’d try to cheer them up, wouldn’t you? You wouldn’t leave them an emotional wreck.

Instead, what you would do is you would do your best to cheer your friend up. You’d perhaps ask him or her to go on a walk to clear their head. Maybe even treat them to their favorite snack or something. Then you’d tell them it’s not the end of the world. When talking to yourself, remember to always use positive words.

  1. Surround yourself with positive people

If you’re constantly surrounded by negative people, you would be absorbing their collective negative energy, and before you know it, you’ll be thinking negatively all the time. You’d be doubting yourself, you’d be doubting others, you’d be doubting everybody.

With positive people, however, you’ll experience the exact opposite. You’ll feel happier when you’re surrounded by positivity so seek out the kind of friends who would always cheer you up and motivate you.
